RF Online is a free to play sci-fi MMORPG developed by CCR Inc from South Korea and published by GamesCampus. The game originally launched as a pay to play subscription based title in 2006 through Codemasters, but later went free to play. Despite the game's sci-fi elements, the game looks and plays a lot like traditional fantasy MMOs. I also found it quite odd that new players start out with ridiculously powerful weapons. These official servers feel more like private servers with such powerful starting gear.
