Myth of Empires has begun work on expanding its medieval sandbox world with Greek units, equipment, and structures. The new Greek faction will be part of a series of upcoming DLC releases throughout 2024 and 2025 which will also include Persians, Romans, and Egyptians.

For now, developer Angela Game offers a preview of the new buildings, building parts, and armor sets designed around the ancient Greek look, and it all starts with the furnace. “As the primary structure used to process materials for various item recipes, the furnace plays an essential role in the game. In the Greece DLC, the Greek furnace has a more elaborate appearance, while still retaining the structure’s integral smelting function,” teases the studio.

The DLC is slated to launch sometime in July this year. In the meantime, the new Jade Era servers are now open for business, offering a “more hospitable” experience for new players and smaller guilds in North America and Europe. The latest game update also introduced the ability to freeze mounts so you won’t have to feed them while in storage. You can check out the full patch notes on the Myth of Empires Steam page.
