Grand Chase M Entering Beta in Korea

Earlier this year the 2D side-scrolling MMORPG Grand Chase shut down after more than seven years in service. Disheartened fans of the quirky anime game now have something to look forward to in the form of a new mobile game titled Grand Chase M. The mobile version was originally known as Grand Chase Allstar when it was first announced in 2013, but has been entirely re-developed by KOG Games and Davinci Games. This updated version is scheduled to enter Closed Beta testing in South Korea starting on July 2. I must have missed the memo, but apparently mobile game betas are a thing now.

Unlike its PC predecessor, Grand Chase M won't be a real-time brawler, but will instead mix strategy and RPG elements. Based on the few brief moments of gameplay presented in the trailer, cards will be involved in some fashion. Oddly, the game is already available on the Google Play Store in the USA though it does not work on all Android devices or versions.

Grand Chase M will be published by Actoz Games, a subsidiary of the Chinese studio Shanda Games, and is just one of many mobile game's in their global publishing schedule. They're also behind Dragon Nest 2: Legend, Dragon Nest: Labyrinth, Dragon Nest: Origin, Dungeon Striker: Code M

Happy Wars is a team based multiplayer brawler that supports matches of up to 15v15 players. The game has cute anime inspired graphics and includes gamepad support. The Happy Wars soundtrack was composed internally by the Japanese developer Toylogic. The Soundcloud embed features all of the BGMs, tracks, and music from the the Happy Wars Soundtrack. Happy Wars was originally released on October 12, 2012 as a free to play game on the Xbox Live Arcade and ported to the PC through Valve's Steam service on May 28, 2014.

Anarchy Online Engine Update Goes Live

Anarchy Online has been around for 14 years and has seen many vast overhauls since then. The latest update for this venerable science fiction themed MMORPG is an engine update that has been in the works for several years. After many delays, Funcom has announced today, June 25, 2015, as the official patch day. Besides upgrading the graphics and interface, the new patch brings a few changes to the game's Professions and includes preparations for the 14 year anniversary celebrations which start on June 27th.

Perhaps the most exciting part of the new update is the fact that Anarchy Online will be available through Valve's Steam service for the first time. New Engine Update:

Adjusted AI Bot drops on ground and ship.
Entrance point into the Grid has been moved.
It is now possible to enter the landing shuttle, located near your character spawning location; this can be used as an additional meet-up location, as needed.
