League of Legends 

NA LCS Recap and Standings

The 2017 Spring Split of the NA LCS has officially begun! Some teams are new this year, like FlyQuest eSports. Others are completely changed up, like Immortals, Team Dignitas, and Team Liquid. Others are the same, like Counter Logic Gaming. Nevertheless, the Spring Split is sure to be exciting with the introduction of the 10 ban system and the influx of talented Korean players.

After this week, Cloud9 has come out ahead with a 4-0 record. Phoenix1, FlyQuest eSports, and TSM are close behind Cloud9. This split already demonstrates the substantial adjustment that many teams have gone through. The Cloud9 vs Counter Logic Gaming game was particularly entertaining to watch.

EU LCS Recap and Standings

The EU LCS 2017 Spring Split has begun! The EU LCS is similar to the LPL in that it has 10 teams divided into two groups of five. There is a double round robin within groups for Weeks 1-3 and 8-10 and a single round robin against teams from the other group for Weeks 4-7. All matches are best of three and the top team from each group advance to the Playoffs.

This week both G2 remains ahead and the Unicorns of Love are perfect in their group as well thanks to Hylissang's performance.

LCK Recap and Standings

The 2017 LoL Champions Korea Spring Split has begun. It's an exciting time for the LCK in that many Koreans have come back from China, forming super teams that made the most competitive region even more competitive. The LCK is organized as a Double Round Robin with each game being a best of three. The top five teams will qualify for the Playoffs.

This week KT Rolster and SK Telecom T1 remain undefeated. The way the games are going, they may remain this way until they finally meet in the 6th week.

LPL Recap and Standings

The LPL 2017 Spring Split has begun! The LPL features twelve teams divided into two groups. The teams play in a double round robin for ten weeks in a best of three. The top four teams in each group are seeded for the Playoffs.

ELEAGUE Major 2017

The ELEAGUE Major was a Premier Tournament featuring 16 teams and a $1,000,000 USD prize pool. The swiss-tournament is held in rounds where teams play to have a positive record after the last round. If any team loses three times, they are out of the tournament and if any team wins three times they are qualified for the Playoffs.

The tournament finished this week with Natus Vincere and Virtus.pro finishing with perfect records out of the group stage. However, Astralis was able to be victorious throughout the playoffs beating Virtus.pro 2-1 in the finals. With this win, Astralis wins $500,000 USD.

Overwatch

Overwatch Winter Premiere

The Overwatch Winter Premier was a Blizzard tournament that featured eight teams. These eight teams played for a $100,000 USD prize pool from January 3-31. After a round robin, the top six teams advanced to play another round robin where the top four of these teams went to the offline finals.

The Immortals dominated the entire tournament and was able to win first place and $40,000 USD.

OGN Overwatch APEX Season 2

Overwatch APEX Season 2 is a tournament where 16 teams will play from January 17 to April 8 for ₩ 200,000,000 KRW (≃ $178,000 USD). The format is a round robin group stage and a single elimination Playoffs.
