Mobile Suit Gundam Online Goes Into Open Beta In Taiwan

Mobile Suit Gundam Online is no long exclusive to Japan but has just launched an Open Beta for Taiwan. Thanks to Steparu for reporting the news. While the Japanse version was IP blocked the Taiwan version appears to be open to all. Even if it is blocked you can always use a VPN to circumvent the restriction.

The games features chaotic 52v52 battles littered with explosions and crisp sound effects iconic of the series. MGSO's graphics are a bit dated, but I imagine the developers are striving to make the game available to as many players as possible.

Luckily, Steparu has included some gameplay along with a the Taiwan Open Beta trailer, which you can view below. Watching the trailers makes me hope for an English version, or at least a fan translation, sometime in the future.
