5v5 MOBA Paragon Relaunches as Paragon: The Overprime

The free to play third person action MOBA Paragon relaunched on December 5, 2022 as 'Paragon: The Overprime" through Netmarble. The game is available on Steam with mixed reviews. The game was originally developed and published by Epic Games but shut down back in April 2018 after failing to attract a sizeable playerbase. This new version features some revamped UI and visuals and is off to a decent start, hitting over 20k players on launch day.

Breathtaking Moments #2 | PARAGON: The Overprime

While it's always nice to see a dead game relaunch, I'm not optimistic on Paragon's future. The MOBA market is super saturated already with heavyweights like League of Legends and Dota 2 owning the market. SMITE is a distant third, but is probably the closest comparable title to Paragon, as its also features a third person camera. Despite my pessismism though, early numbers on Steam are quite good and if you're looking for something different to try it's at least worth checking out.
