7 Days To Die Gets Massive Content Drop, Saved Games Wiped

7-days-to-die-alpha-157 Days To Die just got its biggest content drop since the game entered Steam Early Access in December 2013. The Alpha 15 Update, which went live today, includes major changes to the game which necessitated a game wipe.

“We’ve just released Alpha 15 Stable. [It's] the biggest content drop to date. We hope you like it and as always would like your feedback and help reporting and reproducing bugs. This update has some big framework changes so starting a new game is a must. Please don’t try to salvage your old saved game. And for those of you that experience any problems please use your steam client to delete local files and reinstall the game. Also wiping your player profile data might be helpful.”

Alpha 15 Stable includes a new desert canyon, huge mountains for every biome, and 23 new locations to both Navezgane and randomly-generated worlds. The update also includes a ton of gameplay changes, additions, and fixes, such as a Trader and Economy system, vending machines, craftable chemistry stations, as well as a Blood Moon Horde difficulty system.
