Absolver Shows Off Gameplay Footage At E3 2016

Developer Devolver Digital demonstrated Absolver gameplay footage at E3 2016, which you van view below. Absolver is an action adventure game focused on cinematic melee combat. It has more depth than I would have guessed; players will customize a fighting stance, parry, and feint. Button mashing mashing is not a viable strategy—there goes my Metly Blood training.

Absolver initially peaked my interest through its refreshing art style that makes me think of claymation. But then it held my gaze through fluid animations and a stylized world. I'm looking forward to trying the game when it releases sometime in 2017.
