Aion 8.4 Update Now Live (Free Level 80 Character Boosting Available)
Aion's latest update, version 8.4, officially launched late last week on October 19th, 2022. With the update comes 2 new New Empyrean Lords (<Elyos> Yustiel and <Asmodian> Lumiel) and a new Daeva Pass system which rewards players for completing various missions.
The biggest part of the 8.4 update though is the Charater Jump event which lets players create level 80 characters. These 'jumped' characters start off with a set of lvl 80 gear and other useful items to help them get started. Players can only create a single 'jumped' character per account and must have at least 1 level 10 character before being able to access the 'jump' menu on the character selection screen. Heads up though, you only get ONE 'jumped' character. Deleting your jumped character will not give you another one, so research each class before deciding on which class to jump.
In other Aion news- anyone with an Amazon Prime account can get a free 'Centurion's Accessory Selection Box' which includes a free lvl 40 PvP accessory.
Beginning today, Daevas – the winged warriors of the MMORPG Aion – will have a wealth of new content to explore in the new Aion 8.4 update, now live. Two new Empyrean Lords – Yustiel and Lumiel have arrived, and with them come new Relics, which players can equip and level up, and players will also be able to fight for them at the Border Bridge battleground.
Also part of the update is the Pumpkin King event, where Daevas all across Atreia can gather candy and take down the Pumpkin King. The harrowing Halloween hooligan can only be defeated using Candy Blasts, which players can acquire by collecting from logging in and at candy stations scattered across the world.
Players can also activate a 1-hour buff for +400% XP and +100% Drop Rate by interacting with coffins which spawn in certain locations. To find out more about the 8.4 update or the Pumpkin King event, or to begin playing for free, visit the official website.
