Albion Online Highlights Laborers System In New Video
In the latest highlight video for Albion Online developer Sandbox Interactive shows off an interesting systems called Laborers. Rather than devoting crucial time to gathering resources, players will be able to hire NPC's to gather for them. Or decorate your abode with a silve-gathering Mercenary, or one of four other crafting professions. Since the world of Albion Online is heavily dependent on gathered resources your hirelings will be an intricate part of your daily routine.
Your chosen laborer will offer you a journal. And players will have to write notes in their journal before the laborer can start sweating away. But don't worry! Players wont actually have to write. Performing the laborers specialized task, such as chopping wood, will automatically fill the journal with notes. Hand it over to your laborer and they will head out and start working.
Tend to your laborers happiness by providing adequate furniture, a place to sit or rest. The happier they are the more efficient they'll perform their task. It's certainly interesting and will help alleviate some of the gathering grind, and player housing will serve a purpose beyond decorating the landscape.

Closed Beta starts on Novemeber 23, 2015 and will be available to Founder's Pack purchasers. Full release is planned for sometime in 2016.
