Sandbox Interactive has published a handy guide to help Albion Online players who’re feeling a little overwhelmed by the game’s potions and Alchemy system. The important thing to note is that potions are crafted by players in the PvP sandbox MMORPG rather than purchased from vendors, although you can still purchase them from the marketplace or directly from another player.

Crafting potions, of course, requires that you reach a certain level of proficiency in Alchemy which requires a significant amount of legwork if you want to be able to craft higher-tiered potions like the Invisibility Potion. You’ll also have to scrounge for the materials needed to craft them, with the most powerful potions requiring extremely rare materials that can only be acquired through certain in-game activities.

The good news is that potions are crafted in batches of five to ensure that you have an ample supply. You can only carry up to ten potions at a time though, which requires some forward thinking to make sure that you have the right potions for the job.

“There are a total of 14 potions available, each with a unique ability,” Sandbox Interactive explains. “Potions offer defensive, offensive, and various other utility options to help you on your adventures. While many potions work on yourself, some target other players or an area of the ground.” They can also be enchanted using Arcane Extracts to amplify their effects.

Meanwhile, Sandbox Interactive is now accepting applications for a new batch of community leaders known as The Round Table. “These players get a space to provide high-quality feedback and lead in-depth discussions about different problems that Albion Online is facing. Some of the Albion Devs sit in this space as well, reading the discussions and collecting the feedback as a means to find pain points in each area of the game and inspiration for possible solutions.”
