Amazon is Having Influencers Playtest New World
While we haven't heard too much about New World since Amazon Game Studios first announced it and several videos about it leaked, we do have another nugget of information to report (though we are a bit late in doing so). Lethality, an MMO gamer and influencer, posted that Amazon would be flying him in to playtest New World.

While we haven't heard anything official from Amazon Game Studios since the game was first announced it's reassuring to see that they're clearly still working on the game. Especially since the studio already cancelled Breakway, their first game. While it's hard to get excited about a game we know practically nothing about, I expect great things from a studio affiliated with Amazon - one of the world's largest and most successful companies.
