Kakao Games has apparently delayed ArcheAge 2 from 2024 to sometime in 2025 or beyond, as revealed in the South Korean publisher’s Q4 2023 investor report.

The report’s list of upcoming games has the highly awaited MMORPG’s launch set for “Post 25” along with the global version of Ares: Rise of Guardians and three other unnamed games. The good news is that Path of Exile 2 is still on track to launch later this year.

The meat of the investor report obviously focused on the company’s performance during the said quarter. Like every other video game company, Kakao Games failed to surpass its pandemic-boosted 2022 revenues, but by just under 11%.

Sales from mobile games and apps continue to be the company’s bread and butter, raking in 157.1 billion Won, or roughly $116.7 million, in Q4 2023. PC sales, however, saw a 21.9% increase compared to the same period last year, which is largely being attributed to the launch of Path of Exile’s Affliction League in December.
