Archeage China Ushered In With Music Video

Tencent Games will be launching Archeage in China on September 08, but they're not promoting the game alone. They've partnered with Chinese girl group SNH48, sister-team to Japanese idol group AKB48 to promote the game. All 16 member of the all-girl group will be featured in the game as NPC's to guide the newly arrived Chinese players into Archeage's gameplay.

Bikini girls riding effervescent dolphins is one way to promote a game, and not often seen in the West. I think I would rather play on the Chinese server after watching the music video.

The Chinese servers will be seeing some exclusive content, such as new additions to PvP and map extensions. Content is planned up until 2017. And there's no doubt that exclusive Asian cosmetics will be available for purchase to entice Chinese gamers.
