ArcheAge's Maelstrom Update, After Delay, Now Live
Our readers with a keen memory may recall that just over a month back, we published an article about how ArcheAge was releasing its Maelstrom update on December 6th. Unfortunately, that date was pushed back. Despite the setback, however, ArcheAge's Maelstrom update is, in fact, now live! To celebrate, there are a few events to top this update off.
Free Beginner Bundle for those Under 50
If you're under level 50, go ahead and grab yourself a Maelstrom Beginner Bundle. Upon opening this account-wide bundle, players will find a box within a box, with the bundle containing three boxes of level-dependent equipment.
- Players between levels 10 and 30 can get access to the Heroic Wrapped Greenhorn's Bundle.
- Players between 30 and 44 can use the Unique Wrapped Mercenary's Bundle
- Players between 44 and 50 can use the Celestial Wrapped Veteran's Bundle
Additionally, all players under 50 will receive a 7-day Mount or Battle Pet.
For players who are over level 50, they can purchase the Maelstrom Homecoming Bundle for 1 gold - also once per account. Within it is a set of Celestial Gear, that can be upgraded with Homecoming Warrior Scraps. Those scraps come from the Homecoming Warrior's Challenge, which can be purchased for 1 gold - also once per day and once per account. Complete 1 of the 3 missions it has to earn a Homecoming Warrior Scrap. If you don’t need to upgrade this gear, you can save 25 of them and craft the Homecoming Warrior’s Lunagem Crate, which contains 2 of each of the T1 Lunagems!
