Ashes Of Creation To Start First Alpha Tests In May

Intrepid Studios’ open-world MMORPG, Ashes of Creation, starts Alpha testing this May. The announcement was made by Creative Director Steven Sharif via press release earlier today. The studio will be rolling out invites to backers in phases.

According to Sharif, the first Alpha test will also be limited to a few basic features and will only be available at specific times during weekends. He also revealed that the studio is working on sending backers a small commemorative statue as a way to immortalize the current COVID-19 pandemic. Not that we’ll be forgetting about it anytime soon.

Last week, Intrepid Studios hosted a livestream to preview the game's coming Alpha One build and gave fans their first real-time footage of the upcoming MMORPG. You can watch the full two-hour livestream below.
