Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Will Be Making Its Way To Steam Along With Other Ubisoft Titles
After years of being away from Steam, Ubisoft will be returning to the platform with several titles in tow including Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. The Viking-inspired Assassin’s Creed game will be arriving on Steam on December 6th with Anno 1800 and Roller Champions expected to follow suit sometime in the future.
December 6th will also mark the release of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s final DLC which will finally conclude Eivor’s storyline. Following the DLC’s release, players will no longer be seeing seasonal festivals in the game although they’ll be able to purchase rewards from previous festivals via the in-game marketplace. Unfortunately, that means that the much-requested New Game + mode won’t be making it to the game at all.
The good news is that Ubisoft has confirmed that the next game in the franchise, Assassin’s Creed Mirage, is already in the works. The game will drop players into the shoes of a fledgling assassin named Basim in 9th century Baghdad 20 years before the events of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla where the assassin’s name was mentioned in passing.
