Trion's simultaneous turn-based MOBA of sorts, Atlas Reactor, entered Closed Beta today. Those interested can either buy a Founder's Pack, granting immediate access, or sign up for a free Closed Beta key and pray to the RNG gods that you get access soon.

The Closed Beta is launching with several new additions, including a new Freelancer named Elle, pictured above. Elle is described as "a brutal assassin who uses a custom plasma gun to make as big a mess as possible." She makes use of several AoEs and can deal damage continuously.

A new feature called Seasons—unlocked at level 10—has been introduced with the intention to "deliver new content in various forms while gradually telling the game’s backstory." Each season will last approximately three months and will be broken into "chapters." New chapters will be released several weeks apart and will add new backstory, as well as new "quests, challenges, and rewards." During the Closed Beta, players will be given "access to a portion of the chapters and features planned for Atlas Reactor’s first season."

Also included in the first Closed Beta update are the first pass at a Spectator mode, a ton of new Emoticons, new VFX that can be earned as seasonal rewards, and various "control and clarity improvements." A new map that "takes players inside a top secret EvoS lab controlled by one of the game’s 'Trusts'" is said to be coming soon.
