According to the official press release, the final round of testing will run on Steam from today until April 20th and will include an improved matchmaking system and new content.

“In Shadow Arena, 40 Heroes battle against each other in fierce, action-packed showdowns to become the final survivor. New content, such as a more sophisticated matching system, has been introduced to the final Beta to provide a higher level of gameplay for global players.”

Aside from a new matchmaking system, players will also get to try the new AI Matches Mode where a team of 5-players get to go up against 40 AI opponents. A Normal Match Mode has also been added which allows players to play the game in a more casual setting without worrying about the match results being recorded. A new giant monster, called the Stoneback Crabs, also makes its debut along with the new Blessed Area which significantly increases the HP regeneration rate of Heroes.

Sign up for beta now for a chance to receive special in-game items. “Heroes who have signed up for a Beta key can receive a Premium Beta Key that will give them special in-game rewards,” says Pearl Abyss. “These rewards are the highest grade sealed items, such as the Matchlock and Red Dragon’s Offering.
