Blizzard Entertainment Unveils 30th Anniversary Trailer And Commemorative Merchandise
BlizzCon 2021, a.k.a. BlizzConline, is fast-approaching and Blizzard Entertainment is drumming up the hype for the fully-digital event and the studio’s 30th birthday the only way they know, with a new trailer and a quick look at official BlizzCon merchandise which will be available for purchase when the event kicks off on February 19.
The new BlizzCon merchandise will include Blizzard 30th anniversary commemorative items, BlizzConline products, a purple Murloc plush toy, and a replica statue of Arthas’ Helm of Domination. The official product description reads:
“Forged according to the Jailer's will, the Helm of Domination was to be the vessel of Death's influence on Azeroth. The Nathrezim imprisoned the spirit of the orc chieftain Ner'zhul within the helm, granting him command over a vast army of undead Scourge. The fallen Prince Arthas Menethil freed the Helm from the Frozen Throne, donning it to take up the mantle of the Lich King.”
Special 30th anniversary bundles are also now available on the Blizzard Shop. The Celebration Collection bundles start at $19.99 for the Essentials Pack all the way up to $59.99 for the Epic Pack. The bundles contain a variety of Blizzard in-game goodies including commemorative player portraits and icons, a Diablo 3 pet, Hearthstone card packs, Overwatch lootboxes, and a World of Warcraft Snowstorm mount.
