Players continue to flock to the Japanese version of Blue Protocol, with the much-awaited MMORPG logging over 600,000 players in the week since it launched. The game also set an all-time peak player concurrency of 200,000 players as reported by Bandai Namco in a recent post on Twitter.

To celebrate the milestone, the Bandai Namco is handing out in-game goodies, including reward boost and cosmetic dyes, to all players who log into the game between now and July 28th. The studio has also started distributing pre-registration rewards which players will be able to claim as a bundle when they log in from now until July 12th.

Meanwhile, Blue Protocol is set to launch in other regions in Asia this summer with Cayenne Tech as its regional publisher. These regions include Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan. Japanese players have also figured out a band-aid solution for frame drops during high-level raid fights. Apparently, fighting the boss with no cosmetics equipped has done wonders to improve frame rates during battles.

Hopefully, Amazon Game Studios and Bandai Namco can get all of the known issues fixed before the game’s global launch next year.
