Book Of Travels Raised Over $160K During Their Month-Long Kickstarter Campaign

The Book of Travels Kickstarter campaign has come to an end over the weekend. Swedish developer Might and Delight managed to raise a total of 2,516,656 Swedish Kronas (roughly $161,000) from 7,034 backers. All of the campaign’s stretch goals were also unlocked during the month-long crowdfunding campaign including an in-game journal, a handy Traveller’s portal, shared memories, pets, and in-game appearances by the studio’s resident feline, Flik the Cat.

“Thank you for a transformational 30 days. When we planned this campaign back in March we were an introverted studio with very little public profile and a game world we'd been keeping close to our chest for two years. Today we're talking to 7000 plus people across many platforms and collaborating with you to make a game that's richer and deeper than the one that existed before we began.”

Might and Delight will be signing off for a while as they focus on game development but the studio promises to keep in touch and will be back soon to announce the winner of the island creation contest. Steam keys for Meadow and Tiny Echo will also be sent out soon.
