Book Of Travels Spotlights Endeavours And Co-op Play In New Preview Video

Upcoming “tiny” social roleplaying MMO Book of Travels offers a unique twist on the age-old MMORPG formula and does things a bit differently than most games in the genre. Questing, for one, is entirely the player’s choice and isn’t restrained by a linear plotline. Seeing other players will also be a rare occurrence, but in cases when they do run into each other, the game offers a variety of group challenges by way of the Endeavour system.

Endeavours are divided into four categories: Physical, Mystical, Mechanical, and Social. Physical Endeavours include tasks such as retrieving items or clearing rubble from a specific area. Mystical Endeavours include praying in shrines and other related tasks, while Mechanical ones involve fixing things. Last on the list are Social Endeavours which involve social challenges like getting stubborn NPCs to teach the player new skills.

Book of Travels will be launching into Early Access on August 30.
