Cardfight!! Online Coming To Steam

As of today, the upcoming online game based on the wildly popular series, Cardfight!! Vanguard, has been greenlit. Dubbed Cardfight!! Online, the game is already making a splash with a staggering 19 page thread on the Greenlight page gauging interest in a possible beta test.

While specifics are scarce, the game is set to be released by the end of the year and features fairly impressive visual effects. Cards from the Vanguard G series on will be available to English-speaking players, with plans for the addition of older cards at a later date. Tournaments will also be included. However, at this time, the payment model has not been decided other than "free-to-play with microtransactions" and alternative forms of obtaining cards are currently undecided.
