Bit Mass' free-to-play Hearthstone-meets-Hero-Academy game Cards and Castles officially launched out of Early Access yesterday. The game is now available to download on Steam completely for free. As a part of the launch, the "Early Access special offer" has now ended.

Cards and Castles features five unique factions—Vikings, Crusaders, Warlocks, Pirates, and Ninjas. Players can build their decks of one or multiple factions and then set out to take on other players in a setting similar to Hero Academy. "Movement matters" and players must work to destroy their opponent's castle. The team at Bit Mass is promising regular updates in the form of new cards and game mechanics.
