Career Of Popular Hearthstone Streamer Massan Is Crumbling

Popular Hearthstone streamer Massan has been under a lot of scrutiny from the Hearthstone community in the past year. Many streamers believe he has been using viewbots to bring in viewers to his stream. A few detailed posts on the Hearthstone subreddit have come out over the last year providing evidence that there is a good chance that he at least has viewbots on his channel. Since Twitch.tv had no way of being certain that Massan was the individual purchasing viewbots they could not suspend his Twitch account.

In a recent development, Twitch has decided to suspend Massan's account indefinitely, which leads me to believe that they obtained some hard evidence that he was indeed the one viewbotting his stream. In response to this, Massan's sponsors Cloud 9 Gaming have decided to remove him from their official roster.

Many Hearthstone pros in the past have come out with stories of shady things Massan has tried to do. A couple examples are Amaz saying how Massan tried to sell him a spot in a tournament he was invited to, and a lot of pros were complaining how he would disconnect in tournament matches to get a remake if his starting hand wasn't good.

I've always believed in the saying that if there's smoke there's fire. In the case of Massan there is a copious amount of smoke so I have to believe that at least some of the allegations are true. If he used illegitimate methods to come this far in his Hearthstone career, then I feel no remorse for it to all end overnight.
