Chivalry 2 introduces new game modes, a new weapon, and the ability to headbutt opponents in the newly-released Fight Knight update.

“Chivalry 2: Fight Knight update adds an all-new Brawl mode, Last Team Standing mode, and a new swashbuckling Rapier weapon. In addition, combat becomes even more outrageous now that players with dismembered arms can use headbutts for one last chance at taking down rivals.”

The Brawl Mode gives players a chance to experience the rowdy tavern brawls of yore with up to 40 players taking part in a massive bar fight. Weapons are left at the door but you’ll be free to use everything else as a weapon, including but not limited to chairs, beer mugs, rolling pins, uneaten sausages, and giant fish.

The highly-requested Last Team Standing Mode from the original game also returns to Chivalry 2 in the Fight Knight update. In Last Team Standing, two 20-player teams go head to head in medieval melee battles until only one team or player survives.

The update also kicks off the game’s first-ever Halloween event with seasonal cosmetics like the Pumpkinhelm up for grabs. Several areas will also be adorned with Halloween-themed decorations and interactive objects.

Fight Knight is now live on PC as well as the Xbox and PlayStation family of consoles. You can check out the official update trailer right after the break, or you can also make your merry way over to the Chivalry 2 official site for the full patch notes.
