Co-op Survival Horror Game ‘Devour’ Launching On Steam Later This Month
Devour is a new co-op survival horror game launching on Steam on January 28th from British indie studio Straight Back Games. Up to four players can team up to stop a possessed cult leader from dragging them to hell. The game is a prequel to the studio’s flagship game, The Watchers.
“As once devoted cult members, players must steel themselves and work together to stop their cursed leader Anna Puerta from unleashing an unspeakable evil. With the goat demon Azazel possessing her after a ritual gone horribly wrong, Anna’s rage and power will grow with every step the players take in DEVOUR. In a race against time, the players burn ritual goats, evade a growing legion of demons, and ultimately hope to break Azazel's hold over Anna.”
The game features dynamic sessions that can last up to an hour with no two playthroughs ever being the same. “Run. Scream. Hide. Just don’t get caught…,” says Straight Back Games.
