Conan Exiles Compensates Players For Age Of War Launch Issues With A Booster Event

Last month saw Conan Exiles introduce new content with the release of the first phase of its Age of War expansion. Unfortunately, it also brought with it a nasty bug that caused player-made buildings and structures to become unstable and in some cases, disappear entirely.

Based on Funcom’s investigation into the matter, the issue was caused by a collision problem with Nemedian foundation pieces that caused conflicts with items placed on them, resulting in the destruction of the said items. While Funcom says that they won’t be able to restore the destroyed items, they’re offering compensation in the form of a booster event which will offer increased challenge XP, a 100% increase in spawn rates on all official servers, and tripled the harvest rates on all PvE servers, and increased the daily challenge limit to 20 from July 6th to July 20th.

“We understand that those affected have lost time and resources invested into their experiences, and we sincerely apologize for any frustration caused by this issue,” said Funcom. “It is our hope that these boosts can alleviate the sting of losing progress and help you build back and grow your coffers in preparation for the battles that await you in the Age of War.”

Meanwhile, the team has extended building decay timers from 10 days to 20 days throughout July and August. The move is completely unrelated to the building bug and is Funcom’s way of giving Conan Exiles players time to enjoy the summer without having to worry about their settlements getting destroyed.
