Despite the extremely small sample size of Corepunk’s alpha test last month, developer Artificial Core was apparently able to gather enough data and feedback to start making improvements to the long-delayed open-world MMORPG.

“A big takeaway from your feedback was the immersive nature of the Corepunk world,” the studio reports. “We’re committed to enhancing this immersion in future updates. However, we did notice certain elements, like limited content, affecting the game’s balance and disrupting players’ flow. We’ll fix that in our upcoming updates by expanding testable content.”

Artificial Core is also considering removing direct quest markers in favor of a new quest and map system, and promises improve solo play with a balance pass for the solo passive talent trees. Yes, solo players will have access to a separate talent tree.

The studio also confirmed the next alpha test for later this month. In the meantime, you can head over to the Corepunk official site for a recap of the alpha test.
