After years of development and multiple delays due to the Russian invasion, Ukrainian studio Artificial Core is finally ready to start testing its flagship game Corepunk. The playtest, however, will be significantly smaller compared to traditional MMORPG playtests, with just 21 players from Western Europe doing all the work.

The studio promises to expand testing scope in the lead up to the open-world MMORPG’s early access launch in December. Aspiring testers in North America will be able to join in on the fun in October, although how many will be able to get in is still unclear.

“Our primary objectives for this session are to gather first impressions on Corepunk, understand how the game feels to players, and kickstart our regular testing routine,” Artificial Core explained. “Participants will experience the starting location and some initial gameplay elements.”

The first playtest is scheduled to begin on September 30th. More information can be found on the Corepunk official site.
