Craftopia Concludes Closed Alpha Test Today, Delays Early Access Launch

craftopia mountains bannerPocket Pair’s cutesy open-world survival crafting game, Craftopia, will be concluding their closed alpha test in just a few hours. Unfortunately, the data gathered during the week-long test have led the developers to delay the game’s Early Access release to work on a number of serious issues including multiplayer stability, long loading and server sync times, lost building data, and damaged or missing save data.

“From the beginning, it was stated that, “If there is a problem that seriously interferes with play, the game will be delayed,” says Pocket Pair. “We wanted to somehow release the game early, but the development team has concluded that we need to take some time to make the game better because we want to make a game that everyone will enjoy and be happy with.”

Early Access launch is scheduled for September 4th. That’s assuming that the developers don’t run into any other problems that will force them to push the release date back again.
