Crowfall Rolls Out ‘The Shadow’ Update, Launches Friend Recruiting Campaign
ArtCraft Entertainment has just rolled out “The Shadow”, the first major post-launch update for their recently-released real-time strategy MMORPG Crowfall. The update features new PvP content called The Shadow Campaign, which allows players to participate in fast-paced competitive three-way faction battles regardless of whether they’ve joined a guild or not.
“Battles in The Shadow worlds reflect the same competitive challenges found in The Dregs in terms of conquest, building defensible Strongholds and territory control. However, The Shadow offers players, guilded and unguilded, the ability to be part of a competitive conquest event where their choices can change the outcome of the Campaign and the World.”
The Dregs PvP map has also been updated and is now much larger to facilitate larger battles that will give teams more strategic opportunities for leverage and control.
The update also introduces several new additions and tweaks to the game, including new Iced and Lightning elemental mobs and significant performance improvements, while also fine-tuning and polishing environment assets, crafting resources, the crafting interface, and class balance changes.
Meanwhile, ArtCraft is looking to draw more players into the game with a new friend recruitment campaign. “Starting today, all Crowfall players can use their personal CrowLink (Crowfall.com/join/displayname) to invite friends to join you in Crowfall,” said the studio.
