Crucible Pushes Back Additional Closed Beta Invites And A New Update To Next Week

crucible character art bannerBack in June, Amazon Game Studios announced that they were going to send Crucible back to closed beta just a little over a month after the game officially launched. Players who downloaded the game before the announcement were given access to the closed beta with additional invites scheduled to be sent out earlier this week along with the release of a new update.

Unfortunately, Amazon says that they’ve put both the invites and update on hold until next week while they work to fix a few critical bugs that they’ve recently identified. “We know that’s not exciting news, but these bugs impacted core gameplay and we need time to thoroughly test out our fixes for them before pushing the release live,” says Amazon. “The upside of the situation is that the registration cut-off for the first wave of invitations is being extended to Sunday, August 2, at 11:59 p.m. Pacific.”

The developers also promise to release an updated development roadmap after the update launches next week. Additional information can be found on the Crucible official site.
