Dead Island: Epidemic Will Kick The Bucket Soon

Another early access game bites the dust, this time the victim is Dead Island: Epidemic. The multiplayer action hack & slash arena is closing its doors on October 15th, but they're allowing players who have already purchased in-game currencies to spend their points at a massive discount. There was no conclusive reason given for the stoppage of development, but according to the comments we can presume that this has been a long time coming.

Although tragic— this is but another scar on the Early Access model of players feeling scammed and burned out.
