Diablo 3: Seasons Finally Coming To Consoles

diablo 3 console seasonsLast year, Blizzard told Diablo 3 fans that Seasons will not be coming to consoles because, according to the devs, “The offline and disconnected nature of console does not support this style of play.” Well, it seems that the gaming giant has had a change of heart because, according to a recent dev blog, the first console Season will be rolling out on March 31st.

The dev blog introduces PS4 and Xbox One players to Seasons and walks them through what to expect when a Season is live, from rolling new characters to seasonal challenges, leaderboards, and finally, the end of the Season.

According to the devs, console Seasons will match the PC and Mac Seasons “to create parity between console and PC / Mac players going forward.” This means that console players will be starting off with Season 10 when it goes live.
