Diablo 3's Necromancer Is Now In CBT Testing

Diablo 3's Necromancer has entered Closed Beta testing and if you're one of the lucky few to gain Beta Access on Blizzard's roulette wheel you can test the class right now. I am not; not yet at least. We knew this was happening last week, and we also know there is no NDA—a beautiful thing—so if you head to Diablo 3's Twitch page you can find some streamers playing the undead summoner.

The Necormancer had been added as part of Closed Beta patch 2.6.0, which also adds two new zones: The Moors and The Temple of the Firstborn: accessed via Adventure Mode from the Act 2 waypoint. I might be more curious about the new zones than the new class.

So far, invitations for the Necromancer beta test have been limited, but that doesn't mean you're out of luck. Blizzard will be assessing the test and may invite additional players as time goes on.
