Discord Adds In-Game Overlay

Discord's in-game overlay is finally here. No more alt-tabbing to change channels or settings. You can do it all in-game now—for voice chat. Currently, the overlay only works on Windows and does not support any kind of text chat. Your antivirus may also flag it as a false positive.

To enable the overlay, users simply have to go into their user settings and activate it. Once that is done, it will automatically work with 17 whitelisted games, including Dota 2, Final Fantasy XIV, Guild Wars 2, Hearthstone, Heroes of the Storm, Rocket League, Smite, Warframe, World of Warcraft, and more. The update notes that "thousands more should work great," but it is still early days for the overlay and you may experience issues caused by it in certain games.
