Dragon Nest 2: Legend's First Closed Beta Test Begins February 24th

Dragon Nest 2: Legend is inching ever closer, as, according to Inven, the mobile ARPG's first Closed Beta test will begin on February 24th and run until March 2nd.

For those who have yet to hear of Dragon Nest 2: Legend, the game bears little resemblance to its predecessor, as you can see in the gameplay video below, but it still provides an action combat system and plenty of enemies to beat up. It goes for a darker, more realistic aesthetic than that of Dragon Nest, perhaps as an attempt to keep in line with many other popular mobile ARPGs, such as Heroes of Incredible Tales.

Three characters will be available during the Closed Beta test: Gabel, Jereint, and Marion. Players will be able to play through a story mode that takes place 500 years in the past, the "Dark Lair" dungeon, and a battlefield in which they can fight other players.

Those that are interested and have access to a Korean phone number can pre-register for the Closed Beta test on the official website; those that pre-register are given 1000 Rubies, which are said to be worth 30,000 Won or approximately $26.The rest of us will have to wait and see if Qoo App manages to get a hold of the Closed Beta APK, as it has with other Nexon games like Dungeon Fighter: Spirit.
