Those of you that remember Dragon Raja may remember that it was a bit different than the average MMO. Often compared to Diablo 2 and Ultima Online, it had an expansive feature set punctuated by its job system and large-scale faction warfare. It was even based on a popular series of novels of the same name and the . However, it didn't catch on as well as other titles and the global version has been the only version of the game available since 2011.

Earlier this week, the franchise made a return to the English market on mobile as an action RPG called Dragon Raja M. Dragon Raja M was previously only available in Korea, but this week marked the launch of the SEA version of the game. It was announced at E3 that Narvalous, the North American publisher of Chrono Wars, will be bringing the title to North America, but there is no estimated release window as of yet.

Features include 20 heroes, a stage-based storyline, as in many other mobile action RPGs, "skill-based combat," real-time PvP in 1v1 Arena and 30v30 Guild Battleground formats, and Guild Raids and Wars.

Dragon Raja M's story is as follows.

You will follow the story of Hutch Nedval as he embarks on his quest to save his father from the evil Black Dragon, Amurtaht. Recruit warriors, train them, and battle with them against all types of enemies in arena or guild battle grounds. Save humankind and make your mark on the world of Dragon Raja.

You can see Dragon Raja M in action in the E3 trailer below. Should you want to try the game out, you can download it from the Google Play store. Unfortunately, though there is an iOS client available for the Korean service, it does not appear that the SEA service has an iOS client available as of yet.
