Drakensang Online's Largest Expansion Coming Next Month

Drakensang Online is rarely mentioned but the online edition of the well-known action RPG series is indeed still going. A press release sent out today announced that next month marks the launch of their biggest expansion yet, which will bring with it a new Aztec and Polynesian-inspired continent, the tropical rainforest of Lor'Tac. This new continent will feature ten new maps and two new tribes for players to discover.

The part of the expansion Bigpoint really want you to know about, though, is that Drakensang Online will be getting its first ever dragon. This dragon will take the title of the game's most difficult boss and will reward players with epic gear and new item sets at the end of the 150 quest expansion.  Players will be required to level to the new level cap of 50 to take it down.

The press release also mentions a complete rework of the skill system for all four classes. Players will be given the ability to freely distribute talent points and specialize their character, unlocking new options for various play styles.

The update does not yet have a definitive release date beyond next month.
