Duelyst Officially Launches On April 27th

Earlier this week, Counterplay Games announced via a talk with PCGamer that its card/tactical strategy game hybrid, Duelyst, will be launching on April 27th. After six months of Open Beta, the game will finally be reaching version 1.0.

A number of "pretty dramatic" changes are planned in the time between now and release. Last week, Counterplay kicked off the series of changes by making it so that players only draw one card per turn instead of two. Further changes have yet to be announced.

Going forward, Counterplay is looking into adding new modes, including modes that allow less "strictly 'adversarial'" ways of play. A 2v2 mode, however, seems to be off the table for now.
