Elder Scrolls Online Marks 10-Million Player Milestone With ‘#10MillionStories” Campaign

elder scrolls online 10 million storiesNot all games can say that they’ve recorded 10 million unique players which is exactly what Elder Scrolls Online did at E3 back in June. Bethesda Softworks is celebrating the milestone with a “#10MillionStories” campaign and asks players to share their most memorable stories.

“Over the next few months, we'll be sharing some of the fantastic stories our players have experienced since ESO first launched. Do you have an ESO story of your own? Maybe you have a tale of an especially challenging group activity you and your friends conquered together, a quest that pulled at your heartstrings, an epic battle you survived in the PvP zone of Cyrodiil, or even one of the special relationships you've made along the way.”

While this metric doesn't represent ACTIVE players, it's still quite a milestone. Final Fantasy XIV also celebrated "10 million cumulative" players earlier this year.

In other ESO news, Bethesda published a lore piece today, featuring the NPC Proctor Luciana, an Imperial Battlemage turned Clockwork Apostle with a brutal reputation. “The experimental machines outside of the Brass Fortress' walls are dangerous,” says the article, “but to those who cross the Clockwork City's Proctor Luciana, the monstrous fabricants of the Radius might not seem so bad!”

Meet Proctor Luciana and the rest of Clockwork City’s NPCs in the Clockwork City DLC coming out this Fall. In the meantime, watch Elder Scrolls Online Creative Director Rich Lambert share his most memorable ESO story after the break.
