ZeniMax Online is giving the Elder Scrolls Online community a glimpse of what lies ahead for the 10-year-old MMORPG with an updated roadmap that stretches all the way to 2025.

First up is ESO’s 10th anniversary celebrations which began last week, both in the game and out in the real world. The annual in-game anniversary event is now well underway with various improvements made to both its mechanics and its rewards. The team also made their way to Amsterdam this past weekend to kick off a series of in-person 10th anniversary events.

ZeniMax will also be running another free-play event sometime this month and will be hosting another anniversary event at Elfia 2024 which will be held in the Netherlands on April 20 and 21, while June will see the release of the Gold Road Chapter, another in-person event in Sweden, and the addition of a new in-game achievement to mark the game’s anniversary.

The rest of the year promises more real-world events including one in Germany for Gamescom 2024 and separate events in Japan, China, and Australia. Updates 43 and 44 are also expected to land in the latter half of the year, while Updates 45 through 48 are planned for release in 2025 along with an in-person event in North America.

Meanwhile, there’s plenty of rewards to be had in the ongoing in-game anniversary event and new quests to take on in the Gold Road prologue.
