Elder Scrolls Online Introduces New Necrom Companion Azandar Al-Cybiades
ZeniMax Online Studios’ latest Necrom blog introduces another new companion coming to Elder Scrolls Online with the chapter’s release. Meet Azandar al-Cybiades, arcanist extraordinaire! The Arcanist, as you might recall, is the newest class coming to ESO and Azandar might just be the perfect companion for those who choose to roll an Arcanist themselves.
Azandar al-Cybiades is introduced to players through a captivating letter penned by Elydrina Nathriin, a scholar hailing from the prestigious Shad Astula Academy. In the letter, the scholar expresses her reservations about collaborating with the cocky but extremely talented arcanist.
Elydrina's letter also hints at Azandar’s unparalleled charisma, a quality he likely employs to reinforce his prodigious power. Of particular note is the fact that he’s achieved such mastery despite humble origins, making him an outlier among his contemporaries in a society dominated by ancient Houses.
“A world-class talent armored in a cocksure attitude, anchored by a devotion to needlessly complex wordplay, and blinded by a complete lack of understanding that his actions have consequences. You know my own academic history with the man, and you still want to pursue a collaboration?”
The circumstances under which players will encounter Azandar al-Cybiades remain shrouded in mystery, but we’ll find out soon enough when Necrom officially launches on June 5th on PC and on June 20th on PlayStation and Xbox consoles.
