Elder Scrolls Online’s Firesong DLC Is Now Free Thanks To The Community’s Efforts

Elder Scrolls Online’s upcoming Firesong DLC is now free thanks to the collective efforts of the long-running MMORPG’s community.
At the end of September, ZeniMax kicked off its Heroes of High Isle community event that tasked players with exploring various locations around the High Isles to complete the Pathfinder achievement and fill up an event meter to unlock various rewards, including free copies of Firesong, all of which have been unlocked as of this weekend.
You’ll need to have purchased the High Isle expansion to be able to claim the free DLC though. Everyone will also get the Oak Promise Markings, the Plant Yourself emote, and an Ascendant Hoard Box, while active subscribers will also get a free Appleback Salamander pet in addition to the aforementioned rewards.
Meanwhile, the event continues to run and will be extended for two more days every time the new event meter is filled by 25% as part of its Explorer’s Celebration portion. The meter has now been filled up to 77% as of this writing which means that the event is currently scheduled to end on October 17th. The free copy, along with all other unlocked rewards, can be claimed only until October 21st.
