Elder Scrolls Online Poised To Reveal Its Next Chapter And Roadmap On January 18

ZeniMax Online Studios may have ditched its year-long story arcs in Elder Scrolls Online but its apparently still sticking to its traditional reveal timelines. January 18th will mark the studio’s first Chapter reveal of the year where it will also be revealing its general plans for the nearly 10-year-old fantasy MMORPG in 2024.

“During the show, we’ll give you a first look at the upcoming Chapter, as well as a glimpse at our plans for the rest of the year,” the studio teased. “Join us to see a new (yet familiar) region of Tamriel, as well as the continuation of the story that began in last year’s Necrom Chapter.”

There have been rumors that the next chapter will revolve around the Bosmer race, a.k.a. the Wood Elves, and the walking capital city of Valenwood, Falinesti. The lore teaser and shard that the studio sent influencers and the press also vaguely hints at the same premise.

ZeniMax also teased that its “crafting something special.” Read into that what you will, but it’s probably got something to do with crafting. In any case, we’ll find out soon enough during the January 18 livestream.
