Elder Scrolls Online Offers A Quick Tour Of Scribes Of Fate’s Bal Sunnar Dungeon
Elder Scrolls Online is about to kick off its Shadow over Morrowind narrative in a little over a week with the release of the Scribes of Fate DLC. The DLC will set the stage for the new story arc with the opening of two new dungeons: Bal Sunnar and Scrivener’s Hall. ZeniMax takes players on a brief guided tour of the first of the pair in their latest dev blog.
“Located in the eastern region of Stonefalls, the remote Telvanni township of Bal Sunnar has endured in isolation for centuries. However, mysterious magical energies have begun to emanate from the village, prompting one of Tamriel’s most-secretive orders to investigate,” writes the devs. “To this end, Saresea has arrived at the gates of Bal Sunnar, and you and your party must help the Psijic Order agent explore the Telvanni town, find the source of the temporal magics, and shut it down.”
Those who decide to enter the gates of the remote mountain town will go up against temporal magic-wielding Telvanni, Daedric cultists, fearsome beasts, and three new bosses, including a mutated nix-ox called Roksa the Warped. They’ll also get the chance to earn new item sets along with new titles, achievements, emotes, collectibles, and more.
Scribes of Fate launches alongside Update 37 on March 13th on PC/Mac and March 28th on consoles. In the meantime, you can catch a glimpse of Bal Sunnar on the Elder Scrolls Online official site.
