Elder Scrolls Online Teases Next Year-Long Narrative, Official Reveal Coming Tomorrow

ZeniMax Online Studios is starting off the year with a quick teaser for the next Elder Scrolls Online year-long narrative. The studio’s latest tweet shows rolling seas with dark clouds above and lightning striking in the distance with a promise to reveal more information tomorrow.
The teaser video doesn’t give fans much to go by, but it does open the doors to speculation on where this year’s storyline will take place. The stormy seas might be a good indication that we’ll be leaving Tamriel behind for one of the other continents on Nirn. This could be anywhere from which Akavir, the Kingdom of the Beasts to the east; Pyandonea, the home of a race of sea elves called Maormer, to the south; the Elven homeland of Aldmeris to the southwest, the sunken continent of Yokuda to the west, Atmora, the frozen continent across the Sea of Ghosts in the north, or any of the other islands scattered across the mortal plane.
Regardless of where we’ll be heading this year, we’ll all find out soon enough in the team’s official reveal stream on January 5th.
A storm is on the horizon. Keep your 👀 here tomorrow!#ESO pic.twitter.com/ijjjUtS4LW
