With Elder Scrolls Online: High Isle live across all platforms for a few weeks now, it’s only a matter of time before the dev team starts hyping up the next content drop for this year’s Legacy of the Bretons storyline. That time is now.

Zenimax Online has taken the wraps off the next major update for the fantasy MMORPG in a new dev blog. Dubbed The Lost Depths, the upcoming DLC will continue the events of the High Isle chapter with two new four-player dungeons: the Earthen Root Enclave and Graven Deep.

In the Earthen Root Enclave, players are tasked with defending the druid sanctuary and its ancient relics from a group called the Firesong Circle, while the Graven Deep will send them to investigate a mysterious region in the Abecean Sea where ships vanish without a trace.

While both dungeons will have their own standalone quests and stories, they’ll also build upon the ongoing Legacy of the Bretons narrative and will set the stage for the events leading up to the saga’s conclusion and final DLC later this year. Each dungeon also comes with its own sets of rewards, including new gear sets, achievements, and collectibles.

Update 35 will also roll out alongside the DLC, featuring various balance tweaks, bug fixes, combat system adjustments, PvP improvements, and bonus mini-events for Battlegrounds.

All of that is coming to PC, Mac, and Stadia on August 22nd and to PlayStation and Xbox consoles on September 6th. Before that, expect to see both the DLC and base-game update on the Public Test Server on July 11th.
